Class Scholarships - for senior adults, parents and
job seekers, funded by Verizon and Families First.
Counseling
& Psychiatric Service Program - Provides counseling
services through Genesis and psychiatric assessment evaluations
and medication monitoring to family members without resources, funded
by Two Rivers Health & Wellness Foundation.
Customer
Assistance Program-(CAP)-Met-Ed- for lower income
Met Ed electric households - Provides bill subsidy, debt forgiveness
and free weatherization services, sponsored by Met Ed and First
Energy.
Dental
Clinic- provided by St. Luke’s Hospital mobile
dental office for students without dental insurance or with medical
assistance cards.

Kindergarten-“Welcome
To Reading” Packets - distributed to all families at Kindergarten
registration. Books donated by Brownie Troop 1120, Key Women Educators
and the Slate Belt Kiwanis Club, Binney & Smith and the U.S.
Government.
“Learning
Together” High School Mentoring Program - Business
and community volunteers provide role modeling, share their experiences
and provide career information with at-risk Pen Argyl High School
students to encourage high school graduation and higher education,
in partnership with Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce.
Life
Path Free Insurance Program - For low-income families
providing $50,000 life insurance for children’s college expenses
at the death of the parent. Funded by Massachusetts Mutual.
