Families First is here for you! Family Members
of Pen Argyl Borough, Wind Gap Borough and Plainfield
Township!
WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE!!
Families First was designed and developed by
members of the Pen Argyl Area School District
community who saw a need for more services in
their neighborhood. The committee was made up
of educators, guidance professionals, health care
providers, business professionals, and parents
all living in this neighborhood. Families First
has a vision that takes commitment, dedication,
genuine concern, and loving care to see that needed
services are brought to this community. By working
in partnership with over 30 service providers
in the Lehigh Valley and Slate Belt areas, Families
First has brought much needed assistance to students,
parents and seniors in the Pen Argyl Area School
District.
We are here to assist you with improving your
current situation. Be it a housing concern, medical
care, employment issues, counseling, parenting,
increased job skills, or an empathetic listening
ear in order to get you through some tough times.
Our family center is here to help you find the
necessary resources you need and/or to encourage,
nurture and mentor you or any family member.
Families First is supported solely by grants,
donations, memberships, and the in-kind support
of the Pen Argyl Area School District. Your interest
and support is welcome, we need Volunteers, Board
Members, and financial support to continue our
services for all members of the community.
I am very proud to be a part of this wonderful
Family Center and I welcome the opportunity to
work with and for such dedicated and caring individuals.
If you need assistance of any type, we are here
for you. Together we will work toward improving
your family’s life situation. Together we
can improve your family’s quality of life,
and/or increase your income potential in order
to build a better economic base for the Pen Argyl
Community.
